SHIPPING AND DOA POLICY
Our Shipping Policy
Shipping Coverage
We currently ship live coral only within the continental United States. Due to environmental regulations and the sensitive nature of our products, we do not offer international shipping at this time.
Packaging & Handling
- All corals are packed with utmost care using industry-standard insulated materials, heat or cold packs as needed, and sealed to maintain optimal temperature and moisture.
- Each shipment is hand-selected and triple-checked to ensure coral health and quality.
- We only ship from Monday to Thursday 3PM EST to avoid weekend delays that may compromise the health of our live corals.

Live-Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee live arrival on all coral shipments when:
- the customer is present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.
- the delivery occurs within our designated shipping days.
- any issues are reported with photos within 2 hours of package receipt.
If these conditions are met and your coral arrives DOA (dead-on-arrival), we will be happy to provide store credit or replacement — your choice. Please note that store credit does NOT include the cost of re-shipping for instances that involve shipping complications outside of our control. We understand the frustration behind receiving something DOA...after all, we were paying hobbyists too!
Return Policy
Due to the sensitive nature of live coral, we unfortunately do not accept returns. If you received a damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 2 hours with documentation so that we can resolve the issue. Again, we want to ensure your satisfaction.
Delays
We monitor regional weather forecasts. If extreme temperatures or storms pose a risk, we may delay your shipment and will notify you immediately.
Any delays due to mechanical failure, technical failure, carrier labor shortages, transportation problems, and weather, The Reef Geeks cannot be held responsible if your shipment is delayed.
